ADAM – AI-Driven Air Monitoring – is a revolution in Urban Air Quality Monitoring with an AI-powered online portable sensors system.

We aim to transform how to monitor urban air quality by utilizing AI-powered systems installed on transport roofs (taxi, delivery tracks, and others). This innovative approach leverages the mobility of daily used transport to gather real-time, comprehensive air quality data across cities, providing a more accurate and dynamic understanding of urban air pollution.

ADAM – Modular Design – one of the key features of reliability and portable use

The system is designed for continuous measurement of the concentration of dust particles, and gas components in urban air. Each part of the system has the same footprint and plugins, so it could be used in any position of the system.

ADAM consists of several modules:

  • NDIR method for CO/CO2 concentration measurements
  • Chemiluminescence for NO/NO2/NOx/NH3/O3 measurements
  • UV- fluorescence for SO2/H2S/TRS measurements
  • Dust monitoring module based on optical counter method of PM1/PM2.5/PM5/PM10 and TSP measurements
  • Electrochemical sensors for NON-QAL1 certified measurement
  • Li-Ion accumulator for 24/7 uninterrupted use of the system when power off
  • Highly efficient Thermoelectric coolers for high-precision control of the system temperature
  • Low power EHD based Air amplifier for high-volume air sampling
  • PLC and power modules are used to control each measuring module of the ADAM system for data gathering

During operation, the Air amplifier continuously samples air from outside, which is heated in the probe to evaporate any moisture and stabilize the temperature. Each module either samples the air with an embedded pump and filtration or measures directly in the Air amplifier.

AI-driven features:

  • The system measures the meteorological parameters of atmospheric air (atm pressure, temperature, etc.) and measures the concentration of gas and dust in the atmosphere in connection with the GPS point
  • data validation – we use certified systems while the car is running by and AI qualifies, if data measured with a portable system is valid
  • High volume data flow – a lot of data points to use with measuring of “fresh” sample every second – 3600/24/7/365 – 220 mln measurements per year to train AI on a REAL data
  • Different measure methods are marked as highly/middle/low validity data for AI to consider 
  • Use of meteorological data from stationary systems nearby for moving cars – correlation with AI
